Can't pay crew...

Just downloaded 13.0.1.2. I haven't downloaded the update since the main site isn't working for me and I had to use filefront for the main download. Anyway, my problem is that when I go to pay the crew, i get to the "do you wish to pay the crew" but it won't let me advance from there. Clicking yes or no doesn't do anything (the button clicks in but that is it). The only way I can escape from this screen is to press ESC, which leads me to a death screen. I'm then taken back to the main menu where the buttons no longer work. I didn't have this problem in the standard version of the game so I can only assume it is a bug in the mod. The update doesn't refer to fixing a similar problem.

now who had this problem as well? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> i'm sure i've seen it before.

Indeed somebody did have this same thing very recently. I'm trying to find it right now. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

AGH! I can't find it. I KNOW it's there somewhere. And the forum's search engine isn't exactly helping either. It takes forever for me to load the search results. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

I tried the search. Unfortunately "pay" isn't quite long enough and "crew" wasn't specific enough. I haven't encountered it yet the second time around but I haven't had to pay my crew either (despite being further into the game). Hopefully it's an occasional problem at worst.

If it happens again, I'd recommend reinstalling. You should be able to get all files you need from <a href="http://www.s31clan.com/privateftps/pietersmods/" target="_blank">Pieter's Pirate Page</a> or our <a href="http://potc.moddb.com" target="_blank">ModDB Profile</a>.

Two things stand out from a previous discussion of the same problem.
The version being used was from UbiSoft, not Bethesda.
The second is that the problem was fixed using updated NVidia graphics card drivers.

Here is where this issue was discussed before:

It's working now then? Great! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />
