Carpenter

Hi,

I now have a skilled carpenter as one of my officers. He is assigned as the carpenter and I have planks and sailcloth on board. please can someone tell me how do I make repairs at sea?

EDIT: I have now found out this a well known bug. If Im correct he will only repairn sails at sea and the hull still has to be repaired at a shipyard?

Ahoy sailor.

So far i knew, the carpenter makes the repair meanwhile you travel on the worldmap, if ya have sailcloth and planks on board. You must not order him to do so, you only must sail on worldmap. I have noticed, the carpenter repairs sails and hull, but not all hulldamage, it seems.Maybee becouse there isnt enough material to repair the hulldamage full.....or, couse its to much damage.

it doesn't really matter what he's called, just that he has a repair skill. he does repair up to full strength over time, if you have enough stuff. the quick repair ability only repairs up to 90%, as it has always done and has always been fully intentional.
