Change Sail Color?

Recently reinstalled this old gem. I remember back in the day I somehow change the color of my sails to black? But I have no idea how I did that, anyone can help me with this?

go to F2 ship then sails

The original game didn't have this feature, but the mod (see link in my signature) does.

I don't see any option when I go to my ship through F2 and click on sails.

Seems rather weird, because I certainly have the memory of having black sails on my ship, and not only my ship but my whole fleet. Isn't there some kind of side quest which involves the pirates where you can receive those sails?

I'm certainly gonna play the mod but first I just want the good old nostalgia back

If you want to play the original game first, then you're stuck with white sails.
Though the Mefisto from the "strange things" sidequest should have red ones.
