Code documentation?

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if there was any documentation that explains the C++ files in the program folder? Not looking for a tuturial on programming but just a layout of what fits where etc etc as a general reference. At the moment I am going through all the files and tidying them up so they can be hacked easier but would like to know if any work in this area has been performed yet by the modding community?
