.dds `plug-in`

Could someone give me a direct link too the DSS `plug-in` for GIMP?
Some instructions how to install would also be appriciated as i dont know alot about these things.

Well i download tar.bz2 thingy, and winzip says that theres no files in it. Any special program i gotta use to open it?

tar.bz2 sounds like Unix to me, whereas WinZip is obviously Windows (?). Is there a Gimp version for Windows ?

Nope, doesnt detect any files, do you know any program that your sure will detect the files?

Are you sure the download went ok ? (How many bytes is the bz2 file?)

download takes about a sec, its NOT big, i open it with winrar, it works, but when i read a install readme on the web it tells me i need lots of programs. By now, il rather download the DXT tools, is that what theyr named? anyways anyone got a link to that?
