Does the game support widescreen

Someone please let me know if the game supports widescreen resolutions, like 1680 x 1050. I want to buy the game but before I do that want to make sure it supports widescreen. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

The basic resolutions for the game are:

800x600
970x720
1024x768
1152x864
1200x900
1280x960
1360x1020
1360x1024
1400x1050
1520x1140
1600x1200

Its possible to edit the resolution through the engine.ini file in the game folder using these lines though:

screen_x = 1024
screen_y = 768

so i have no doubt you'd be able to switch it to 1600x1050, the only question will be with that if it really turns widescreen or if it pulls everything out of proportions <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/urgh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":urgh" border="0" alt="urgh.gif" />
