Downloads section

Hi Keith,

It's the whole download section I'm denied access to....only whilst logged in though.

I live in England.

I've been having the same problems as Damski. I'm denied acces to everything in downloads unless I am NOT logged in.

PS - Location is Central US in Missouri..... And I've been having this issue with the downloads area for months now.....
 
Damm thats strange, I'll have a look see on the settings, maybe it's a group thing.
 
Ok, found it.

It was in the group permissions, as the new modders & News groups were made they did not get updated in the downloads section.

All fixed now <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
 
That seems to have fixed it for me. How about you Damski?

So how <i>would</i> I go about in adding that group to the Downloads section???
BTW: This problem might apply to the "News Gatherers" group as well then.

Pieter,

You need to go though the components tab and select the manage download categories then when the permissions come up for each category just tick the new groups in.

Yeah, I added the news gatherers as well <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
