Fixed England Relations Exploit with Declined Escort Mission at St John's

How it goes (as in Assassin):
Talk to portadmiral for escort mission (to Sao Jorge), decline the mission, get 3 relations point up with England.

Looks like you're right.

I'm applying a simple fix so that you are unable to decline this particular mission.

hey, I just downloaded the beta 3.4 from moddB. The opening wall paper still reads beta 3.3. When I take the escort mission from portadmiral, i can still decline and gain that free 3 relations points. So is this fix in the beta 3.4 release?

What "opening wallpaper" do you mean? Are you sure this here is the file you got?

UGH! Did I forget to update the version number in the main menu?
The date is correct.

Could you upload a savegame in the Port Admiral Office so that I can test this? I did include the fix but didn't have time to check on it.

PS: or when you hit F1, that's the screen i meant.

So here's what I did.

Install the 3.4 (update installer) downloaded from moddb. enter game, go to my save, hit F11, go talk to admiral, take sao jorge escort mission, declined it, gain relations 3 points (as before).

Moved back to Bug Tracker so I remember to test this tonight.

Yep, you're right. My change only worked AFTER looking at the map.

Additionally, I needed to update the version number in the main menu. And also noticed that there was a RESIDENT in the Port Admiral's Office there.
So I addressed that too and am now recompiling the installer. Again.
