Need Help Fixing camera on deck

On ships like the Barquentine, Brig and Light Brig, the camera is at the crew's waist level and I can't enjoy the full luxury of strolling on my deck while the crew towers over me. Is there a way to lower the camera??

Raise the camera, you mean?
Might it be as simple as increasing the Z-coordinate of the "camera" locator in the ship's main hull GM file?

I EFFIN' HATE HATE HATE having a gazillion different reference systems in use!!!
At work, it IS the Z-coordinate.
And depending on whether it's Seakeeping or Manoeuvring work, they like to invert the X and Y.
Just because they can... or something.
And I have seen uses where the X and Y are swapped altogether.
There's just ZERO consistency.

Indeed, I never completely got why we still don't have a universal system.

Blender has Z vertically.


On PotC and Maya it is Y that's vertical.
