Fixed Grand Turk: No Cargo Quests

So, I had to deliver some leather to "Turks".

After getting there and into the store, I could sell my gold to the trader, but unfortunately when talking to him I did not get the option of giving him the delivery! (and I have all leather with me)

As my relations with the pirates was at "hostile" I finally figured out I didn't have to search for any relations-officer in a tavern surrounding the island, but that I could do that at the governer's (for a pretty hefty prize that is...).
But that didn't help either, as I'm neutral with the pirates and I still don't have the option when talking to the store-owner! (savegame is attached).

What can I do? Is there a way (via console) to mark this quest as finished? What would be the downside of me selling the goods? (-> no more cargo-quest, right?)

If I recall, I fixed cargo Quests a while back so that if you fail one, it isn't the end of the world.

I'd need to check your save to see why you cannot complete it.
Can't make any promises on when that will be...

I need to see if:
a) it really isn't such a big deal and continue the game as is (but there surely would be some hit in relations or what not?)
b) if I can go back to an earlier save (depends on how many hours I put between accepting it)
 
@Hotshot: Turns out that the Store Owner did not have the dialog code to accept cargo AT ALL!
So no matter what you did, you'd never succeed at that particular quest.

I'm very surprised nobody reported this before; apparently nobody was ever sent there.
Maybe this is new because I think I unlocked some more possible destinations for quests....

Anyway extract the attached dialog.c file to PROGRAM\DIALOGS and the dialog.h file to PROGRAM\DIALOGS\English .
Now if you load your savegame, you can complete the quest just fine. :onya

The way I fixed this is by copying the very similar "Kate Blowhorn_dialog" files.
There were some line indices different between both files, so I'm not 100% certain all lines now display correctly.
If you get the chance to try out various of Ricardo's dialog options to double-check his dialog, that would be appreciated. :doff

Indeed I did. If you fail a quest (due to the time limit), you can to talk to the Store Owner anyway.
If you deliver the cargo anyway, you'll get some reputation loss, but you can get such quests again later.

Which means that if you sell the cargo, indeed you WON'T get such quests again, because the active one may have failed, but did not complete.
It is indeed possible to cancel the quest through console, but the above is a much better way so that you actually CAN complete it. ;)

Thanks to you to for reporting it! This was indeed quite notably wrong.

If the reason why this wasn't reported is what I think it is, there is a slight chance similar issues may occur.
So please continue playing these quests and if it happens again, let me know. :doff
