[HELP] English Governor general problem

I have completed the first 2 quests for Thomas Modyford and im Promoted to Lieutenant, Ive waited 7 monthes in game for the next quest, and hes still not giving me anything.

Anybody know how to fix this?

Nvm, i have the quest but its not showing in my logbook. ??? I went to bartender - moneylender then i go on my ship and i cant do anything.
