Help making cursed pearl smoke

Hi I’ve noticed when I go in free play as barbossa the pearl doesn’t smoke, when I adjust files to make it work every ship does. Is there a way to make the pearl the only ship that fogs?

It depends if you have a CURSED fast galleon. This ship makes a fog itself.
You can also get a fog on any ship if you play as Cursed or by having few Aztec Coins,

I cannot seem to fine the “cursed fast galleon” it automatically gives me the pre cursed and I can’t change it.

That is intentional. The idea is that if you manage to return 882 coins to the chest on Isla de Muerte and lift the curse, the ship will stop being cursed as well.

But at the moment, you're missing some coins, so you're under the curse of Cortes. It takes a little time to have any effect. Wait a week or two in game time and see what happens...
