[HELP] pirate quest or nation quest?

I had a question im level 8 in age of pirates GF, an was wondering can you do a nation quest line then do the pirate quest line or do you have to pick? thanks guys! keep your swords sharp

you can do the national quest like 1st & then the pirate quest line .. or you can do the pirate quest line 1st but you will have to complete 8 missions then morgan will tell you that you can do whatever you like , in this time you do the national quest line & head back to morgan for the last mission in the pirate quest line .
