I can't Believe it!

After playing POTC on my Laptop since it came out I installed it on my desktop then added the build. When I tried to load the game I got a runtime error and the game wouldn't load.

I tried it three times with and wihtout the build. Any ideas about what it wrong?

All the MOH games run well and so does call of duty.

You could try running the PotCModHelper.exe program that was installed with the Build and post the resulting log here so we can have a look at it.

This tool should be in the TOOLS folder of your POTC installation.

I've had a runtime error when I was fiddling with the code and missed off a `semi-colon` or bracket somewhere. The PotCModHelper found the file and the line number of my typo.

<b>Jason</b>,
If POTC doesn't work without the Build then there might be some problem with your PC.
I know that the game specs call for 128MB of RAM and you've got half of that so that is a potential problem.
You could also change some settings on your graphics card like disabling `Anti-Aliasing`.

Problem solved.

Downloaded the the direct x fix suggested by Nightling.

Resinstalled the game

Downlaoded the build agian and installed the full build.
