Importing residences

One thing I want to try soon is importing some of the AoP residence interiors into PoTC. There are five in AoP and two are already in PoTC. AoP's "residence04" is PoTC's "residence7", used in a few places including Guadeloupe; and AoP's "residence05" is PoTC's "storehouse", used in Tortuga and in the smugglers' house in Charleston.

That leaves "residence01", "residence02" and "residence03":

"residence01" is probably going into Santiago to replace the clone of St. Pierre's townhall. (Apart from anything else, it has a couple of side doors which have possible uses for "Ardent". But it's not going to be exclusive to that storyline.)

Has anyone any preferences for where the other two could be used to replace an existing duplicate interior?

Especially #1 and #3 look very nice!
I think this will add some good amount of variety again. :woot

There's still some work to be done, mainly adding the "goto" locators so that anything which is supposed to happen in the old Santiago townhall can happen in the new one as well. But the location works. Screenshot from the door looking towards the governor, and another one from the governor's view looking back towards the door:

A feature common to all these residence interiors is a set of stairs from the doorway. All you commoners who want to visit the governor enter the room by looking up to him and have to climb to reach him. :p

In that case, here's the new townhall in Willemstad, Curacao - entry stairwell, view towards governor, his view back towards the stairwell:

There was a bit of fun when it came to arranging the background that you see through the windows. Willemstad's original residence was "Residence4", the same as the one in Kralendijk, and its background was also the same. I tried copying it into the new residence and it didn't work; the entire back wall behind the governor now showed the background image. This was because it's a cube with the image of Kralendijk on the inside faces, and it's too small. It's also wrong because Willemstad town centre is cloned from Sao Jorge, not Kralendijk. So I copied the entire "back" folder from "Residence5" instead, which is both a large enough cube to fit round "Residence03" and the correct image for the town outside.

Port au Prince town hall now has a new interior:

The town is basically Sao Jorge with some new structures, one of which is a keep that replaces the church and serves as the town hall. As it looks like a castle, the martial decor of "residence02" with swords and shields seems appropriate.

The original Port au Prince townhall interior is a variant of "Residence5" with a different texture, with the walls displaying bare stone instead of being painted. With Port au Prince now using a new interior, that "Residence5" variant became available for use somewhere else, preferably somewhere which uses "Residence5" and which is located in something like a castle - or perhaps a fort...

That's the dining room of the fort at Playa de Sabana, which Hornblower visits once during his imprisonment at the fort, and again if he plays the "Natividad Incident" sidequest.
