You have to ask street traders ( not store-keepers) in all the towns if they have any mummy powder. You usually have to ask them more than once.

If you get stuck you can use the cheats (accessed by F11 ) --- one of them in the list gives you the details of the Quest includingr which town the street trader you are looking for is in and the other locations for the things you have to find in this quest. They are randomly generated by the game each time the quest is started.

I think the button is s F22 in the cheats list - but am not sure if I remember this correctly.
