Well i tried, i tried, I actually tried 6 times already to get the Build Mod to work, and its freaking me out honestly.

I installed PotC it works fine!

I install Build 12.1 + Patch It works Fine, But when i add the Additional Downloads on Pieters Pirate site, my whole goes to shit.

Can somebody give me the good install instructions for the Additional Downloads without the errors en bugs etc.

EDIT: WTF! Now i cant even get Build Mod 12.1 to work, i dunno know whats going on anymore. Can anybody help?!?!?

I dont know if this helps Krayzie, but here goes. When I installed all the new mods the other day, My game would not restart. Went to the "Black Screen Of Death" I like to call it! Now it was funny, cause I could hit F2 and go to that page, and see some character there called "Something" Coward!, but would not start tutorial. Also hitting F1 would go back to the main Menu, but what would that do....let me Restart again??

So I reinstalled but this time, I did not put those files in that new folder Resources/Textures/loading/English and it worked..go figure. I mean those files are now in two places......in "loading" and in the new "English" but which ones work?

Also the game seems to "approve" of the mods being put in the POTC in some sort of order.....I did the bigger ones first like Islands and stuff, then the little extra fixits that have appear throughout the threads here, that may have something to do with it as well.....but that is trial and error for you....cause i cant remember that order for a hundred percent sure now!

This information is old information. You can find the recent files on <a href="http://pieter.piratesahoy.org" target="_blank">this site</a>, downloads page. After you installed all that, install <a href="http://pieter.piratesahoy.org/downloads/post_b12_upd_18-6-06_small.zip" target="_blank">this file</a> on top to have the most recent version. After installation, run English.bat. A newer version will probably be made and uploaded within a week.

Sorry for the complicated installation. All mods will be included in Build 13 soon, which will be one file which can be installed onto the stock game without problems and without any additional downloads.
 
Pieter let me say that you're a great modder. POTC is a great game, but when i've installed "Build" this game has becomed the greater MMPORG that i ever seen

A MMORPG is a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. Pirates of the Caribbean is just a normal RPG, because there is no online play.

I haven't really modded much myself. Mostly, I put other people's mods together. THEY are the TRULY great modders. I have, so far, only done some small things. The largest thing I ever did is the bladedamage mod, but that one could still use some finetuning.

It doesn´t work! Can somebody of you explain me the right way to install ALL mods (version 12.1)!?
When I install the mod in the PotC-file - What to do next? I click on the icon called "build12_full" and he is batching all files. But I can´t start the game! Please help me!
An which Mod I have to install first??
(I haven´t got the english version but the german one/is this important!?)
 
Install:
1) Build 12.1
2) Post Build 12 mods (from main PA! site)
3) Post Build 12 mods update (from Pieter's Pirates Page: Link in my signature)
4) Post Build 12 mods 18 June update (link also in my signature)

It's a bit complicated at the moment, but I have time now again, so I'll be able to improve a lot of things again to make the installation easier. Once Build 13 is released, that should be much easier.
