Is Pirates 2004 a one time project or a beginning ?

I wonder if there will be new Pirates series...

Will we continously see new Pirates game during the coming years.

Or is this just a one time job?

I suppose this has to do with the sales but it would be intresting to know the plans....

I think its a one time job, i think i read something before ( a while ago ) that it was a toss up to redo Pirates! or Colinisation so they may do that after Pirates!

Keith do you mean redo Civilization? Civ and Pirates were the biggest hits ever for them. Colonization would suck big donkey d___

mind you i thought it was a good game, i was never a civ fan.

Civ was a great game. I don't think they should do anything with Colonization. Civ was the `end-all` be all for that type of generation.

As far as I know, we may see an expansion or two (although I doubt we will see two expansions as they have unoficially started work on Civ4), and then we may see a pause, but after some years (hopefully not 17 <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> ) Pirates! will return.

They have said many times that they will create what the comunity wants, which is awesome, although it takes time. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
