thats right guys, im new, Id like to say a big hello and congratulate you on this site. I havent finished the game in normal mode yet (well ont way) but this Build yer all talkin aboot sounds pretty sweet...

do I continue with the game and finish it in normal mode first or do I give in to temptation and jus install this mod and start from scratch?

as I used to do a bit of modding for cs I should imagine the lure of building and adam ant pirate model too great to resist (sounds f**king hard tho).. but I may well have a go

you know it, Ill just pinch a skin with a tricorn hat and then try and make the face fit (aka give it warpaint and a clean shave)... the white vest would be nice but I dunno where Id nick it from unless I oculd just recolour an exsisting model...

ill have a look round the towns tonight and see what models need chopping up ....... I may find i cant as Ive never moded out for Potc b4 (probabaly obviously). so if anyone wants to volunteer to give me a hand (or love adam ant enough to do it for me) drop me a msg.

Little advice on the game...

If you start out and go around boarding and selling so you have a nice ship to start the main campaign on (say, the Caraval I had which was upgraded to a Corvette and then to a Battleship w/Corvette escort), only keep one ship. lol

I was on the mission where I had to escape from port with the French captain - lo and behold I see my Corvette escort in bay with us!!! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" /> Damned thing was toasted by the frigate, Battleship, fort... I was most unhappy. :x

I probabaly should have done that from the start, i started the main campaign and got so far then upgraded to the nippy but powerful (and blue!) sloop (still just had 1 ship)... then I caried on till I stol the class 2 ship in the harbour with the idol on it, and used that to get a battle ship.

so now I have them 2 beauts to look at...

Im currently on my way to find some dude who reads foreign text with daniel in my crew (the indestructable thing that she is)...

Yeah, I just couldn't wait to really try out the build, so now I've got two POTC folders--one unmodded and one stocked with build 11.
