well i tried reinstalling without mod with mods and new and old drivers still locks up im sure now its the comp....arrrrrr :x

Just an update! Build 11 has been working well for me. I still get an occasional CTD but it does not keep me from going further in the game like my previous problem. I was stuck for a short time trying to board my ship and it would keep crashing to desktop, I read the build readme and found out that if you hit the T key prior to loading it would fix the problem and sure enough it worked. Thanks goes to Jack Sparrow Jr. for the tips a couple of posts back, I was ready to give up on the game. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

All I downloaded was Build 11.
