mefisto quest- cant free teacher from greenford prison

I'm running my game on build 11 and there's supposed to be a mod where the tavern keeper can take you to teacher in Greenford Prison. In the prison, there's nobody sitting at the desk and I cant ask the tavern keeper to take me to teacher. I've also gone to the Redmond priest to get the letter giving you permission to free him. I wish I could tell you there is a work around for this, but it is a problem from the original game where, if you kill the prison officer sitting at the desk during the main quest, before you do the "missing children" quest, you cannot complete the missing "children quest". <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ib012.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cry" border="0" alt="ib012.gif" />

From what I understand, this has been fixed in Build 11, but it is annoying and we can all thank Disney for rushing the completion of the original game.

IIRC the bug is fixed in the Build.

But the tavern keeper doesn't take you to the prisoner he just tells you that he's been imprisoned when you ask him. Then I think the warden and the prisoner are "generated"
If you have previously killed the warden then the tavern keeper just suggests that you go to the prison and talk to the prisoner anyway.

Thank you for your help but I cant find the prisoner. The whole prison is empty except for a lone prison guard who says something about feeding me to 'the cat's nine tails'.

I restarted my game and did the mefisto quest before I whacked the prison guard in the main quest.
