So i found the original game on a website and downloaded it, installed and it works just fine. I can start a new game and play the game in vanilla which is excaclty what i want to do.
My problem here is i cant save my game because the buttons in the menue wont work. I can click the new game game button and it works just fine but when i want to save my game i cant click on the button. I click on save game and then the save menue opens and i can click all three buttons but they wont do anything. I even get a noise when clicking them but thats all.
Can someone help me?

-restart my computer
-change the resolution via the config exe
-compability mode for xp
-start as admin
