One of the things that still make me think nostalgically of POTC compared to COAS were the ambient sounds. I used to anchor at an island at night and for a long time just listen to the sounds of the jungle, the whispers of the waves and gaze at the reflection of the moon on the water. I could literally feel the humid warmth of the Caribbean and taste the salt in the air. It made me feel as if I was really there. Sadly that is something that is sorely missing in COAS. Or is it? Is it maybe just my installation that is faulty and these ambient noises are actually in the game?
