My officers are killing me!

Ok, here is a new one. I arrive on OC in the main quest for the first time. Enter the gate. I freeze becasue of the `Vessy-Blyth` fight. My officers draw their swords, and so does a French Corsiar right in front of the gate. My officers dispatch him. The Vessey Blyth dialogue never starts. My guys keep swing at the nearest man, me. I can't draw my sword until the Vesst - Blyth dialouge starts, sooo I cower and die eventually.

Trhee times running. Not as much as discovering you can kill Virgile Boon and get a million and the take the French fort and get another million in the main quest.

No worries. Reverting to a previoulsy saved game took care of it. I just thought it was an interesting phenomenon. BTW warping to the tavern did not help as long as the officers were with me.
