officers & passengers pay

the amount I agree to pay people in town, is that going to be their monthly or yearly pay? do I still have to pay them if i move them from my crew boxes (4), to the passenger line of boxes above?

If you're playing build 13, it's shows 10 times their monthly pay (don't ask me why!), you don't have to pay passengers, and if you're on land for the evening of the 7th day of the month, you miss payday and don't have to pay anyone.

If you play build 14 (alpha) it displays the monthly pay, you have to pay passengers (at half rate) and you can't skip paydays. It also defaults to tripple the build 13 salary costs. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dev.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":d:" border="0" alt="dev.gif" /> (Though that can be set back in buildsettings.h)
