My wife passed away a few months ago .Recently I signed up for a couple of online dating sites .Is it just me or have women on the internet gotten uglier in the past six years.Ughhh! Maybe I'm just to picky or maybe my wife spoiled me too much ,but I haven't found one yet that could come close to her. And yes, internet dating has become filled with unusual characters <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> - I think the 'net's being overrun with weirdos (not that it didn't already have its fair share).

I'm always in some kind of mood <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> . Not being in one is when I start to get worried.

@ Cylon13 ,she mixed the wrong over the counter pills with her prescription meds . May that be a warning to everyone out there ,be careful what meds you take together .She had a lot of health problems before that too ,but it was still quite a shock as she was only 37.

It's understandable if you never do. My family has gone through several deaths in the past three years (thankfully, most from old age), and the memories of those days are always present, even if one doesn't think about them. Living in another province, and not having known most of them all that well actually makes it worse - why, I don't know.

Medicine has played a role in two of them, though - the mentality in Canada now is if you're over 50, you're as good as dead if you go to a hospital. One was a misdiagnoses (although I have my suspicions), and the other was a lack of care.

I should about shut my trap now, though - I think it might look like I'm hijacking your topic, which wasn't my intention <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="ops" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> .

Me too, me sorry for you! The hospitals here in holland are quite well actually. I think that the best hospitals in Scandinavia because there the government spends a lot of money on that.

Well in my wife's case it was mostly her own fault and not the doctors. If she had stuck with her prescriptions she would still be here .They say it was the nonprescription meds she took with the prescriptions that caused her death. She never made it to the hospital ,died in her sleep. By the time I woke up it was to late .
