Ok, I've been using the mod builds for a whilenow (i think i started with build 11 maybe). You guys do excellent work. I seem to
have a very starnge bug that i cant quite understand. Every once in a while, when I attempt to enter port, my sails are drawn up, then
I can't do anything, it doesn't go to the port. Then, as I sit there waiting for something to happen, then the screen goes black all except for
the fact I can still see the cormorants flying around, and around, and around, and around and... Well, needless to say I was frustrated. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/urgh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":urgh" border="0" alt="urgh.gif" />

This only happens every once in a while, but even so, it gets annoying. Suggestions would be apprectiated! Thanks

Does this happen only at certain ports? Can you post your error logs?

Well, as far as i can see there is no pattern as to where it happens. Although it seem to me that it happens after I board a ship. Say for example, I'm off the coast of Redmond, and happen to see a pirate nearby. I decide to battle it and after much sailing around in circles, I manage to board it. After all the ensuing deck battles, as usual I reach the Ransack interface and procede to exit the ship. Afterwards I decide to enter port to repair damage to my ship. Once I attempt to moor, the aforementioned error occurs, and I have to restart the ENGINE and load from the last savepoint. Which actually reminds me that I have touble properly saving. In otherwords I may save my game at some point. After I save, the Screen goes back to the F1 interface and I can't do much of anything. The only way to get back to the game is to press F1 or F2 to bring up another interface and then exit that one to return to the game. Or sometimes I will save the game and then exit. When I return to the game, my savegame shows as a bad save. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

I suppose that's a possibility, I'll attempt a reinstall and see what happens. Besides I have no idea about any other way to address the problems.
