plot eh? well it's basically the same as the original game you start out as a freelancer captain who has landed on Sicily which is currently under Roman control to take on supplies as you leave the port a Carthaginian Fleet attacks and conquers Sicily you then leave and dock at Rome(if you wondering about that you can get to Rome from the sea through the Tiber) and report to the Senate about the catastrophe from there the game pretty much becomes totally orginal as you can choose several paths to take in the service of the Senate either
a)Commander
b)Spy
c)Mercenary
