hi, i have i really bad problem but i think it can be fixed. i had my potc game working properly for a good time. then i left it away for some time and before looking the other movie im willing to play it again, but when i create a new game all the textures are white, the only ones that look properly are the ones of the sea and the sky. if i load a game, textures are fine until i enter a new place. i reinstalled it many times using other potc cds thinking that the problem was with my cd but no response. please help me, maybe video drivers are the problem, i really dont know, sorry for my bad english.
pantaman.

Geoforce 2 mx is very low end video card mate, if you don't have a lot of coin, invest in a Geoforce FX5900 128 MB ye can get it for about $80.00 much better card and you will see a vast diffrence in graphics, a 6600 GT is a better bet, for about $150.00 but ye would require a 400 wattpower supply minimum for the 6600GT <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

300 watt power supply would be suffecient, FX5900, 6600GT you have to plug into your power supply to run the card, <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

man, i have about half that amount! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> What kinda rig are ye runn'n mate, 150Watt P/S, ye seriosly need an upgrade mate, what video card do you have ? POTC is capable of some terrific graphics and yer miss'n a lot if ye don't have a reasonab;e grahics card. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

the only graphical thing not used in my game are the water reflections, and the resolution is a bit lower. (turning it higher doesn't make a difference) i have a Nvidia geforce 2.

a AGF3 Titanium 500 would enhance yer game quite a bit, probly would run on yer PC, doesn't require much juice, Used that card when POTC first came out <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

can you still get it? and would a lot of other games run on that as well? (not too new, but PotC quality, maybe a bit higher. compatibility-wise)
