Port Royale Prison?

Okay so I got my first mission from the Spanish Governor-General and I have to break some dudes out of a prison in Port Royale. Only problem is - where the heck is it? I have searched every single building in the colony itself as well as the jungles around it. Does anyone know where the prison is at?

Thank you. I actually ended up finding it not too long after I posted about it but damn if it wasn't hidden. I went to the fort once before but didn't see the stairs going down.

yeah, go to the fort and enter, make sure to bring some fighters caus' the figthing will be rough, then make you way to the basement. Dont wait to slaughter all the soldiers, you cant, they will respawn forever.

how can I moor on Port Royale when the relationships aren't friendly? I tried sneaking from the jungle, but the patrol recognized me....

Try it at night after 12 hours. Go to the tavern.

To be recognized, if the main character has a low level of secrecy. Go out to the coast in the Bay of Portland.
