Problem changing character model...

Whitebeard

Landlubber
I have a problem when I try to change the character model.
I tell one of my officers that I want to change appearance or something and I am taken to the character model screen - but here I can only choose between my current model and the model of my officer. These two models take up all the slots on screen.
I am using build 11 and everything else seems to work fine (good job, by the way!).
Hope someone can help me - I accidentally chose the Othello model at the beginning and now I'm really tired of his pretty, blue uniform...

Pull up a keg, have a seat, and have a couple on us! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

We're glad you found your way into these fair waters, and hope you visit often! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />

To change clothes, you need to talk to your `tavern-hired` officer (not a `quest-hired` officer) - scroll down all the way to the end of your dialog with him and you will find the selection "I need to change clothes"... He'll run you through the selection list you initially did with Malcolm at the beginning of the game, and you can choose anything there...

The way you are currently trying to change clothes is from the "Tailor mod" - if you wish, you can go to any island and find the tailor shop - and there you can purchase clothes for you or for your officers. These are different skins from the ones you already have in your "wardrobe", and some of them even include armor (the soldiers wearing visible armor) which will protect you in battle.

That should help! Again, welcome aboard! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hi.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":gday" border="0" alt="hi.gif" />

Thanks for the warm welcome.
Looking dashing in my new jacket and face I've just succesfully boarded my first ship. A schooner, I think it was called. Having fought almost to the last man to win the battle I find out that I haven't got enough men left to man the enemy ship and take it as a prize - or to just swap ships.
Damn!
I like that.
One question though (if you have the time and patience): Is it possible to order a ship in your squadron to board an enemy vessel - or will they perhaps do it from time to time on their own initiative...?
Well, back to being a pirate.
I think it suits me.
