Problem with the Build

I have the 'Australian' version of PotC and I think that may be why my build won't work. I downloaded the build and tried to install it without the Euorpean files and the game crashes when it starts a new game. I tried installing both the European files and it starts a new game but everything is choppy. The textures flicker and it freezes up every few seconds. My computer is well up to PotC requirments and I've played it before. I have an Nvidia graphics card but I didn't download the whitewash fix because I can play a clean Potc no problem, I think maybe my Norton virus might be doing something but I don't know.

Any help, ideas or instructions appreciated.

EDIT: Update. I installed the build over a clan Potc with just the build and used the RunMe.bat to localise it and it crashes. Maybe because I deleted everything in my PROGRAM folder before installation?

Virus checkers have been known to cause some problems with POTC, so I always disable my Noron whenever I play.

Are you using the lates version of Build?
The newest Build should run the RunMe.bat file automatically when the option is selected on the Inatall program.

There are a few Aussies here who would know if you need the European files.

I would suggest that you try using the Omega Drivers for your card from here:
