Hi,
i've got a problem!
I've taken a delivery quest form redmond to conceicao! The quest runs now above 3 months but the entry doesnt disappear!
I've changed the ship during the quet and i wasnt able to take all cargo with me!
So I hoped the quest will be removed after 1 month, but it isnt so!
Now I cant take new delivery missions from other traders!
What can i do?
How can i cancel the quest book entry <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hi.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":gday" border="0" alt="hi.gif" /> ?

Whatever the cargo was, e.g. Silk and Sandal, Rum and Tobacco, etc...

Make sure to purchase/aquire enough of this to deliver.

Normally though if you don't deliver it your rep should plung, hmmm <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

His reputation probably DID plunge, 8Q!

DJ, you have to be sure to do the trade missions right away or you will lose your good reputation with any other merchants. You need to do as 8Q suggests, get a large cargo of whatever trade good it was you were supposed to deliver, and go deliver it! That should help. Otherwise, I'd try going back to a previous save - to where you still had the other ship with that cargo. You won't be able to do any other trade missions until you get that straightened out.

Weirdly enough, almost 20 years later, I have a follow up question -- Is there any way to find out what was the cargo? I don't have a pre deal save and I then sold everything to buy something else for import export profit.... Help! Thanks a mil

In the stock game, no. You're now stuck with a quest you can't complete and no way to find out what you are supposed to be delivering.

The "New Horizons" mod should show what you're supposed to be delivering at the bottom of the cargo interface, and the store keeper to whom you're supposed to deliver it will tell you what he's expecting if you don't have it.
