Question with Build 11

Im not sure if this has been already asked, but I couldn't seem to find it. Is there anyway to turn off the scrolling words on the left side of the screen that tell you everything that is happening around you, and what your character is doing? They get really annoying during battles and storms when it keep saying that my character gains 100xp etc...

If you press "L" it will turn some of the logs off, however the game will still report the items and experience gained while fighting (and I agree this does get in the way, especially if you kill about 10 guys in a period of 5 seconds).
