Rainy day dream away let the sun take a ...

I think the surrealistic rain in the start cabin may be stopped if the line:

// Locations[n].lockWeather = "Alcove"; should be "ON"

in QuestLocations. Why is it "OFF"? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mellow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":|" border="0" alt="mellow.gif" />

But that line is commented out and doesn't do anything, does it? Or isn't that what you mean? I am not at home, so I can't check it out.
I once tried setting the "weather off" variable for the tutorial cabin, but that caused the sea to disappear and the entire cabin to be unnaturally bright. Not what is supposed to happen... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

No I meant that if you not comment out that line, my guess is "alcove" weather is the weather you´ll always get in the cabin. And that should be a good thing because "alcove" weather is guaranteed free from rain. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Remember Nathan talked about rain in the cabin a long time ago and had a logical explanation as to why thar was rain in the cabin,if I remember correctly he said there was nothing that could be done about it,You can comment out //to enable that line and try it see what happens and change it back later if need be Jack.

Yeah, I remember he said something about the cabin requiring weather because it is a sea location and not a land one.

We can give it a try; If it doesn't work: So be it. If it does work: That finally fixes one crazy bug. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

Yes & if it doesn´t work I have this idea:

Comment out the line again. In both_reactions we can put in a line where the tutorial starts: "Set next weather etc" & invent a new weather from for ex. "blue sky" but skip the rain chance. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mellow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":|" border="0" alt="mellow.gif" />

I have now turned the line on and (I hope) properly added similar lines for the ship cabins and decks. We'll find out soon enough if it works or not. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
