Reputation Incorrect

Hey I am kinda new on PotC,

my question is: I am a neutral person, I am in Oxford now, I need to find the person who gave me the chest that the "undead pirates" took from me in front of the Tavern, if I walk around and go to a tavern, then go to sleep, I wake up, go outside, "YOUR REPUTATION HAS BEEN DECREASED TO (fill in)"! It keeps decreasing, I know the church is an option but I don't god enough money. I "think" I had given back the money at a loanshark in Oxbay (is there a way to check out if I have any money borrowed at other loansharks?), and there is another thing, I REALLY CANNOT FIND THE ISLAND "Con(and then something else)", I need it for that chest, Owen said i needed to go there for the quest but my reputation keeps decreasing till "Horror of the Seas!".

Maybe another thing I did wrong: I accidentally didn't give my crewmembers their salary, their mood is "Heroic" though...

Can someone help me out? Mail me or something?

p.s. Can I still install those mods (12.1 and 13), and what are the differences, don't I lose my savegames

BTW, I haven't got a merchant mission going on and I haven't killed any strangers...

This was a bug in the stock game that finally was fixed in the Pre Build 13 modpack. No matter if you do pay back your loan, it will still cause reputation trouble as if you didn't pay it back.

If you install any of the Builds, you do need to start a new game. It's worth it though, because a LOT has been improved. However, the required Build 12.1 is not available at the moment for some reason. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

I am using the stock game since god knows how long and I never ha that problem of my reputation lowering that fast, only problem was to get a higher rep, since that too kages, was doing tons of cargo and transport missions and after 10 of each or so I finally reached bloke, so now I changed the files to give me mor rep after finishing those quests, only thing that confuses me is the church donating and I made a topic about that.
