is there a way to modify a file to change the screen resolution?

open the start menu, look in bethesda softworks\pirates of the caribbean, and choose 'configure pirates of the caribbean'.

thanks you i'll give it a try.

i bought an older computer from my roommate who is moving and this
was one of the games on it, but no manual with it. i'm not much of a gamer, but it's something
to pass the time.

and don't forget the updates! you will have to start a new game.

i went ahead and downloaded the updates and the build pack so
maybe i'll get some time to put everything in. thanks again
for the help here. my roomate gave me the disc for the
game so i'll put the game on one of my systems thats got a
little better hardware setup.
