Shipyard Interface Lag Time

well i have a image setting controll that i found....im useing XP so its more diffrent Fred Bob.....maybe if yuo could tell me how to take those photos <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Does changeing the hertz or raiseing your colour bits to highest reduce lagg or make better grapichs??

Let me tell ya what i see.

I press start/controllpanel then i see these alternatives:

(Il try to make this english cause im not from england nor america)

In the controll panel i see:

Looks and themes (this is where me video deskop and theme options lay)

Network and Internet options:


Remove and add program:


Sounds, speeches and sound units:


Preformance:


User acconts:


Time and national settings:

Ok so now i press looks and themes and then:

Change your computers theme:

Change your deskop:

Choose a screen saver:

Change the computers resultion:
(this is where my video options are.

here i can change my colour quality and my resolution on my desktop.

now i press advanced.

then this comes up.

General:Grapichcard:monitor:colur matchingroblemscan:Geforce 5200fx: now here i press geforce5200fx then heres:
Screen adjustment
displaytimeing
Preformance and quality options whitch is where i press
coulor correction
overlay controlls
trobleshooting
Nvrotaion
Refrech rate overrides
change resolution

after preformance and quality i choose
a little window that says global driversettings and then image settings
then theres a little thing where i can chagne my image settings from these 3 alternatives

AFAIK the video card has no bearing on speed during goods price calc (i.e. the shipyard delay), just your CPU (and FSB/RAM too, of course).
The performance/quality choice (or manually setting Aniso/trilinear/bilinear, mipmap LOD, etc) is only for when in 3D mode, not 2D (interface).

But if your _3D_ is lagging, then yeah that'd be thing to set. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
