Steam?

Was just tinking about this before. Is there any point in downloading Steam? it looks like every weeke you have to download 1gig every time due to a patch or something...

Does anyone have it on all the time?

Steam is HORRIBLE, it has runied allot of aspects of Halflife and its mods.... STEAM SHOULD DIE!!! that and it also has allot and I mean ALLOT of problems ranging from not caring if someone steals ur cd key. too the massive glitches and so forth and so on... bottom line is steam SUCKS
