Stuck in tavern

I am stuck in redmond tavern with the Bartender and the 2 people at bar cowering and not talking! cannot leave bar and tried restarting game! still dont work! HELP! I NEED TO PLAYYYY!!

im using VANILLA version!

HELP PEOPLE! i resolved this issue but now im on the bit where my ship is missing and im on douwesen BUT IM STILL ON SEA WITH MY SHIP AND I CANNOT DO ANYTHING! IF I MOOR THEN I CANT GO BACK TO MAP?!?!
