Texture Editor

is there a texture editor for the models?im getting tired of trial and error in editing my own skins for the model.

in there some way i can edit them more accurately?like the one they use in The Sims perhaps?

GM Viewer and TX Converter are what we have. Then any TGA editing program to edit.
