Just started watching it, might have some piratey goodness given that it seems to put some emphasis on the actions of Jean Lafitte.

I watched that film last week, but unfortunately wasn't overly impressed. The amount of actual pirating seemed minimal at best.
And it was rather obvious that most of the outdoor scenes were shot inside on a sound stage.
Too bad, I had been hoping for something better.
