The good ol' Xinterface of doom

So after about half a year of not playing this game I decided to return to my caribbean treasure stealing ways, so I double clicked on that evil skull and believe it or not bamf the xinterface o' doom showed up. I checked the logs but they were blank (and failed to show up even after I changed debuginfo to 1) So I for some odd reason decided to install the old build mod over this (in hopes of overwriting corrupt files) and it worked <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> the game showed up and played fine. So I decided to see what I was missin' and installed the newest post build mod and bamf right back to the evil Xinterface. As such now having tools at my hands I opened up PotCModHelper and it showed me the error.

Now if anyone who has great skill with this games internal files can help me, then feel free to give me some kind replies. As I have no idea how to fix this problem. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />

Not only that, but engine.ini is where you set the variables to turn on the log files. I guess someone needs to post a pristine copy of engine.ini. I would, but I've got changes in mine.

If the changes are post build changes then it might work. Well thanks anyways mates :

-update

After I ran the mod tools in debug mode once more ive ran into about a billion errors

I get odd errors like

COMPILE ERROR - file: sea_ai\AIShip.c; line: 17
Invalid array (Ships) size

and in system.ini

I was thinking it might have something to do with localized and delocalized versions but I have no idea. (ive tried both

-update

Now im getting this

What did you install? Sounds to me like either you missed some files or you are using old savegames that don't work.
