Troubles with ASUS `A7V8X-MX`

I've got an ASUS `A7V8X-MX` motherboard with S3 integrated graphic card (32 mb shared) , ATHLON XP 2200, 256 DDR, 40 GB HD, WIN XP PRO SP1...
The game starts but when i try to play, it blocks on the loading screen and the only thing i can do is ending the application throuh the task manager...
Can anyone help me?

Ahoy Mate an welcome to PA,It most likley yer video card is the problem,upgrade to GF3 or GF4 4200 or 4600 min for best effect <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

Stenauta, Build 11.0, as Rico says, is a collection of modifications fans have made to the game. It will make the game more interesting and challenging, gives you the opportunity to play beyond the main quest finish, and also will help correct a lot of problems with the stock game. Another thing - if you are playing a European version of the game, there is a Euro patch that will help make the game playable for you.

Hopefully you will be able to iron out your video card troubles - the <i>minimum</i> system requirements say GeForce2 MX or better card. I am not sure the integrated card on your motherboard will be sufficient. If you plan to run any kind of 3D graphics games it is best to have a separate video card with beefier features.

If you still get the problem after the build, turn on error logging and post the log.

I say this only because installing Euro Patch may do funny things to Mith's weather mod.

if not ..... you cannot run the game

Um...the game is DX8.

Euro mode can be set during install of 11, or via utility, or via directly editing the H file.
