Urgent question

ok im new to this forum, and this build thing.
i just finished playing the original Pirates of the Caribbean game.
and my question is:
is there any way to continue from my last saving point?
i installed build 13 but that says my saved games are not compatible or something.
if u could reply that would be great.

as i said i am new, so excuse me if there already is a topic with this question, i didnt see it.

Stock game saves are not compatible with the modpacks; you really have to start a new game.
However, there's so much new stuff added that it's certainly worth it.

in fact, there's so much new stuff added that the game would unrecognisably break if you would continue a savegame. funnily enough, i remember being able to do that when i upgraded to some old version of build 12. it was odd, to say the least.
