I think it is a good idea, but isnt that illigal?

Unless you own a copy of AoP, then yes it would be likely be considered illegal. Certainly I wouldn't recommend sticking the program files of AoP available online, as it would be er...(software) piracy.

They'll hang you from the neck until you be dead, dead, dead...or at least they would if they could get away with it...I'm sure the relevant industry group is lobbying for it now.
An't very wise to annoy Akella. I've seen enough legal threats ruin modding communities in the past. Wouldn't be wise to risk it (especially not since it is apparent Akella folk sometimes read the Pirates Ahoy forums).

To answer the original question: No, we can not use the AoP engine. Completely unrelated to legal issues, it simply does not work. I tried to put it into my game, but the game wouldn't run anymore. The same goes for trying to use AoP MODULES files: PotC won't accept them.

Oke, i wasn`t planning to use them anyway, but if the engine worked, it could be a good idea to PIMP your own game. (I am not so in illegal thinks, except downloading music from limewire <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> )
