Video is all screwed up

I can move around...i can see people....but i can't see either the land or my ship!

It's all transparent, so all i see is water and sky...and masts, i can see those too .

Are you using the Build Mod?

If not then you could try installing that or just the graphics fix which can be downloaded from here:

If that fails then you might have to use some different drivers. Apparently the Omege draivers are more stable with the game.

also, i only get into the actual game if i'm lucky, usually when i hit the main menu it crashes to the desktop before i can click new game

If you're using the Build then that ahould be included in the mod.

I suggest that you try changing some settings on your graphics card like disabling `Anti-Aliasing`.

Failing that try using either older drivers for your graphics card or do a search here from the Omega drivers that might work.
