What should I do after finding the treasure?

I went to dominica (or whatever it's called), and found the treasure and that sister. When she said that we should use the money for building that Libertia, I refused and said I want my half of the treasure for myself. Then she disappeard without saying anything. That means I can't finish the Main Quest? Can I do something to keep the Main Quest going or I'm stuck now? Please help me

Such an act is.... inconcievable!!!

Well. You can work for one of the other factions now and capture all the colonies for them and that brings forth a quest ending.

Remember that you are your own quest writer. "Go where the wind takes you" and not your logbook <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

yes , I think u did end the main quest when u told the girl to get lost .. if u have save game before that then reload and go with building new nation option .

OK thanks. How do I capture a colony?

get man o war or other 1 or 2 class ship
go to the colony you want to capture
load your cannos with bombs
shoot the fort
when you get the option land troops(after you destroyied the forts canons) hit f3
fight the defenders of the fort
when you won the fight you will get a screen with options choose the capture colony option

just keep in mind that evrybody will hate you after that

Actually you can capture the colonies for yourselves without this pirate state thingy.
