Can you buy a direct 2 drive version anywhere?

It's all but impossible to find anywhere that sells it nowadays, and I've never heard of anywhere that sells it through Direct 2 Drive. E-Bay usually has a few used copies, but you have to make sure they're not Ubisoft Exclusive copies, which are different from the original game and whose CDs are often bad.

Shame because ive had my copy since release just about but the disk is damaged. I am trying a CDcheck to fix it now <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />.

What's up with those PotC game discs these days? Do they have a built-in self-destruct timer or something? I've heard ridiculous amounts of corrupted CDs lately. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wacko:" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />
