I have uploaded on FTP : folder White Ensign. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
It will change english flag to White Ensign.
Small english flag on upper left corner is missing white "x", but if i put it in
flag look not good , so i left it out. Hello when picture has only few pixels diagonals look bad , but straight lines look good. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />
Flying ensign on mizzen sail looked real bad. I have deleted that texture. Maybe someone

i hope that there aren't any scotts on this site, they would be rrreeeeeeeeeeeaaaalllyyy annoyed that their part of the flag was left out.

I think they had the same problem. I also looked at MOW4 and, deck texture did not work for me
and hull it was black an gold but i did not like it.
Rename manowar4 to manowar3_44 and texture bortoutmanovar4 to manowar3_44. And you can see yourself. test flags too i think that you alredy now how to do it if you have downloaded my white ensign mod.

should i rename ALL of the files in RESOURCE/ MODELS/ ships/ manowar4 in the ENGLISH FLEET file to manowar 3_44 or just the gm?

Goto manowar4 folder take out manowar4.gm. rename it to manowar3_44.gm GoTo manowar3_44 folder
rename your manowar3_44.gm to xmanowar 3_44.gm and put renamed manowar4 = manowar 3_44.gm in
manowar3_44 folder . Goto Pirates of the Caribbean/RESOURCE/Textures/Ships rename bortoutmanowar3_44
to xbortoutmanowar3_44 and put bortoutmanovar4 renamed to bortoutmanowar3_44.tga.tx in folder.
In buildsettings.h make your startship "manowar3_44".

I looked at my ships textures folder and you are right.it is bortoutmanowar44.tga.tx
but i think now that you do not have to change manovar4.tga.tx name. put it in ships texture folder
i think it will work, and try start game.(start new game).
in my game only deck was textureless. in my texturefolder i have bortoutmanovar4.tga.tx and
bortoutmanovar4.tga.tx renamed as bortoutmanowar3_44.tga.tx. this was why it worked for me
i think.

the bowsprit is too short, the deck, guns and a little patch at the bow are colourless, and the big flag you put on it arent there anymore!
plus the fact that the figurehead doesn't look good at all.
i think i'll leave Jack Sparrow JR's skin for Petros's new one[i hope he makes it <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />.]

I can make it work with my rigging mod but about deck ,guns etc no texture. i do not know.
 
well, i think that Petros will make a much better one when he does, judging by the pirate frigate, he is excellent.

About using those Jack Sparrow Jr. ship skins: You need to make whole new ships for it; with a seperate entry in ships_init.c and it's own model. You can copy an old GM file, then use a so-called HEX-Editor to make the copy of the model use the new texture. If you can't figure out how to do it, I will do it. Eventually. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />
 
i'd appreciete it, but leave JR's MOW, i don't think it looks good, two yellow gundecks instead of three which is how many there are on the ship, and a brown figurehead without any detail, its not worth the trouble. i'd prefer that Petros does it, he is much better when it comes to skinning ships.
the silehard stock manowar has a short, curled bow which looks like a proper MOW should look, which is why i think that any attempt to make the victory skin should be based on that model
